So blown away by this game. This is an incredible piece of art. Everything comes together so beautifully, and it feels like the medium is absolutely perfect for the story.
I haven’t played a game in videotome before, so this was an incredible first experience. Immediately, I fuckin loved the atmosphere. It’s so gritty, dark, and disgusting. There were plenty of references to each of the senses, making it feel grounded and the words something you could smell (yuck) and hear. I felt really immersed.
The music + sound effects are rad as hell. No sound effect felt out of place. I actually finished the first section right as the music was about to loop again, so good pacing!
At “Everything moved too fast, I knew.” the sudden music scared me LOL
The backgrounds are ethereal and feel like that one My Bloody Valentine album cover (Loveless). The art fits the vibes perfectly and hurts my heart in the right ways.
Also, WE JUST PUNCHED A GIRL AND WALKED AWAY?? that’s so crazy of me

Amazing job. I loved seeing all the references to the song I submitted (flatsound - my heart goes bum bum bum). You got the toxicity of it JUST RIGHT and told a really brutal story too!
